Scope

After the success of the seven past editions of ICT Days annual conference, we are pleased to announce the eighth edition (ICT-Days’21). This conference is an excellent forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange ideas, experiences, opinions and research results related to ICT in education. The main focus of this year’s conference will be about EVALUATION OF LEARNING IN THE DIGITAL AGE.

Topics of interest

The program committee encourages the submission of articles that communicate applied and empirical findings of interest to EVALUATION OF LEARNING IN THE DIGITAL AGE  topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following topic areas:

  • Axis 1: Measurement and evaluation in the digital age
    1. Aspects of learning highlighted in an online assessment
    2. Methods of conception and design of evaluation devices and tools
    3. Difference and similarity between digital and traditional assessment devices and tools?
    4. Challenges to be met regarding the development of digital assessment tools?
  • Axis 2: Assessment practices and tools in the digital age
    1. How can digital technology transform assessment practices (in their sense, and in their forms)?
    2. How do teachers and trainers plan assessment activities and manage them in a hybrid or fully distance learning context?
    3. What ethical and methodological issues do these assessment systems raise?
    4. To what extent can digital tools be integrated into an overall learning assessment strategy?
  • Axis 3: Innovation in emerging models and methodologies in evaluation
    1. What new possibilities do innovations in evaluation offer?
    2. How have measurement and evaluation methods adapted to the changes?
    3. To what extent do the deepening or modification of existing methods respond to this evolution?
    4. What are the challenges and implications of these innovations for practices?

Publications

All accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings with ISSN number. They will be published as conference proceedings selected papers after peer reviews.

Awards

(Best Young researchers in ICT)

In order to encourage quality research by young researchers (students), ICT-Days’21 will award the best oral & poster presentations during the conference.
To be eligible to win one of these prizes, you need to respect all submission guidelines and deadlines.

PS: Failure to follow these instructions AUTOMATICALLY excludes you from the best presentation awards.

To be eligible for these awards, the presenting author of the work must be a student.

Submission guidelines

Authors from all over the world are invited to submit original and unpublished papers, which are not under review in any other conference or journal. All papers will be peer-reviewed by the program committee based on their originality, significance, methodological soundness, and clarity of exposition.

Submitted papers must be written in English or French and should be in Word format. They must follow the instructions in the template file, available in Microsoft Word format at:

Submissions imply the willingness of at least one author to register, attend the conference, and present the paper.

ICT-Days’21 is using the Easychair platform to manage the submissions. In order to submit your paper, you must first create an easychair account.
